A series of ill-prepared sales calls push a customer to complain in this video that raises awareness of the telecommunications regulations as they apply to bank staff who carry out telephone sales calls as part of their work.

The video conveys the importance of telesales and the need to conduct sales calls effectively and with care. A fictional customer feels the frustration of receiving sales calls that interfere with his life as a result of poor preparation by bank staff.

Each scenario focuses on a different aspect of the legislation and concludes with sequences showing real bank staff making the right preparations before calling. TV actor Geoffrey Palmer provides a wry voice-over that encourages staff to think before they call.
