Emergency Response Seminar
Live event designed to address the issue of procedure in an emergency.

Walnut Media managed and supported this one-day 'Emergency Response' seminar for Yorkshire Electricity Distribution.

The event brought together representatives of several regional electricity companies to discuss their contingency plans for dealing with emergency situations. Presentations ranged from the effects of the November 2000 floods to the national impact of the Foot and Mouth crisis.

A key element of our creative contribution was a short new media presentation entitled 'What if?'. This thought provoking sequence portrayed fictitious emergency scenarios which could cause significant disruption to electricity supply. The presentation provided a basis for discussion, helping to enrich the sharing of ideas between the event's attendees.
