Providing direction to First Direct staff
through a series of live events.
How do you communicate face-to-face to over 4,000 staff in two
locations in only three weeks without severely disrupting business
as usual? This was the challenge facing the Chief Executive of First
Direct when preparing annual staff conferences.
Walnut Media worked with First Direct's internal
communication team to stage a series of live events to keep all
employees informed about developments in the business.
To eliminate the need for staff to travel to
external venues, we set about temporarily converting part of a staff
restaurant and a meeting room into two functional conference auditoriums.
Accommodating up to 120 delegates at a time, the auditoriums used
tiered seating and a multi-screen layout for graphics and video.
